Who Can Apply

YTU’s foreign-national undergraduate admissions come with a few important eligibility conditions:

  • No YÖS exam is required or administered by YTU. Applications are evaluated using accepted international exams and diplomas instead (SAT, ACT, EGE, and others — see the official list linked below).
  • YÖS scores from other universities are not accepted as part of the application.
  • Applicants who completed high school in Turkey are generally not eligible to apply — the only exceptions are graduates of international high schools, embassy schools, and MEB (Ministry of National Education) project schools.

Important Note on Exam Scores

If you’re submitting SAT, ACT, EGE, or any other exam issued electronically, note that a notarized Turkish/English translation of the score report will not be accepted as part of your application. Make sure to follow YTU’s official score submission and verification process before the deadline (linked below).

Tuition Fees

2026–2027 international student tuition fees will be announced separately by YTU, expected around July 10, 2026 — shortly before applications open.
