📝 How to Get the Equivalence Certificate
Step-by-step guide to applying for a high school equivalence certificate in Turkey, including required documents, online process, and what to bring to your appointment.

📄 Required Papers
- Fill out and scan the official form: Equivalence Application Form (PDF)
- Scan and photocopy your residence permit.
- Scan and photocopy your passport and entry stamp.
- Prepare separate scanned files of your:
- Diploma
- Transcript
- Apostille
- Prepare a combined scanned file of the translated diploma and transcript.
- Include a recent student certificate (“Öğrenci Belgesi”).
- For Turkish citizens: scan and photocopy your national ID.
🧾 Application Process
- Visit edenklik.meb.gov.tr and fill in your personal information.
- Upload all required scanned documents one by one.
- Select the Ministry of Education office (preferably the nearest one).
- Choose an available appointment time.
- On the day of your appointment, bring the original copies of:
- Diploma
- Transcript
- Apostille
- Student certificate
- Passport and its photocopy
- Residence permit and its photocopy
- Printed application form
- At the appointment, go to the “Denklik” office.
- After completing the process, submit the original diploma, original transcript, and equivalence certificate to Office A-1018 in Taş Bina at the university.
